I talked to my Grandma, and she told me she thinks this year will be my Grandpa’s last Thanksgiving and X-mas. I wasn’t planning on going out there this year because I didn’t really have too much extra money. After she told me that though, I knew I had to go. I couldn’t ask her for any extra money because I know how expensive all his medical bills have been and I didn’t even want to bring it up. I always find a way though, it’s just my nature.

I maxed out my credit card, and my credit score is actually really bad. I guess that’s what I get - so I knew getting a loan or borrowing money or whatever was out of the question. I’m a huge fan of doing things early - especially my Christmas shopping. I just got my roof fixed because it was leaking for some reason, but whatever, the point is that it cost me a fortune to fix so I didn’t have any money to get the shopping done. I never wait until after Thanksgiving, because that’s when the craziness starts. The problem is my next paycheck isn’t until the beginning of December.
