I always fly my older sister and her husband in for the holidays. They have a lot on their plate, so I’m always willing to help and I know they count on me every year for that. Well, I just got a new transmission put in my car, and you know how expensive that is - it basically broke my bank. I’m a resourceful person and I always find a way to solve my problems.

I’m going to throw a wine party for all my girlfriends.  I want the party to be more of a wine tasting than a fill up your glass and drink.  And I want to have pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and chianti.  I want five bottles of each kind of wine which means I need 20 bottles.  I would also like to serve good cheeses, crackers and grapes.  I want this be a very girly event.
